UNIPOLLO. This slaughterhouse is one of the largest companies in the poultry sector in the Dominican Republic, with a slaughter of 50,000 chickens per day.

The management of blood, viscera, feathers and other waste represented a major challenge for the environmental control of the plant.

The proposal includes a pre-digester and two biodigesters in series that today make up the heart of a park for the treatment of water from this plant.

This slaughterhouse also uses all the biogas produced for the operation of its boilers, all the steam required by the processing plant is 100% supplied by the benefits of biogas.
