Since 2012, Agropecuaria Bautista generates his own energy by exploiting the biogas originated in the anachronic treatment system of its organic waste through biodigesters.
Furthermore, Agropecuaria Bautista utilizes the stemming heat from the biogas generator to warm the piglets gestation and by the heating of drinking water, making the maintenance of basic services more cost-effective for the farm's due operations.
